The Flap Slap is a relatively tall, flat-sided crankbait that displaces a lot of water while producing high-frequency vibrations that attract predators from afar. The balancing of the lure along its body in the lower part generates a distinct rolling action that emits significant flashes similar to those of a much larger lure to mimic a fleeing prey. Highly responsive, it is easy to animate and moves from the first turn of the handle. During pauses, it slowly rises in the water layer while maintaining a natural pendulum action that encourages predators to attack. The Flap Slap evolves up to 1.60m deep and can be used in regular linear animation, punctuated by pauses or jerks.
