The Shadow Raps have a “Minnow” on its last breath action. It complements the “Wounded Minnow” and the “Fleeing Minnow” actions already known and reputable in the Rapala range. These three actions perfectly replicate moments when fish are most vulnerable, thus being an easy target for predators.
The action of a “Minnow” on the verge of dying is simple: a “twitch” displaces the lure to the side that will then overturn itself, head down, facing its opponent and faltering down like a dying fish. Unlike other “Jerkbaits”, the Shadow Rap turns almost 180° when “twitched” on a non-tensile line, and stays in the exploring zone, where it will sink slowly while vibrating.

The Shadow Rap Shad Deep stands out. Use it gently in the morning when larger fish are still asleep and then speed up the pace for an aggressive action, matching the fish's mood. The revolutionary frosted new colours absorb light and minimize its brightness, ideal when there’s a lack of aggressiveness.
