The ACE reel can be used in both fresh and salt water; it is a high-performance reel at a considered price point. A highly rigid frame thanks to the geometry in « lattice » and cold-machined from solid. This rigidity is the key to longevity, it limits mechanical play and premature wear of essential parts. The axle design improves the stiffness of its shaft and the smoothness of the spool rotation, especially when fishing during fights with large fish. More smoothness, more overall rigidity, and an even longer service life.

Spool :
• Spool locking by engagement eliminates sources of corrosion at that point.
• The precision of the machining saves a few grams to offer a true large arbor for fast and efficient line retrieval.
• V-shaped winding facilitates the storage of the fly line and its release during fish runs.
• The geometry of the spool and frame allows the line to dry more quickly.

Drag :
• Very progressive carbon disc drag system, designed to last:
• Drag power for sizes 3/4 and 5/6 = between 3.5kg and 5kg
• Drag power for sizes 7/8 and 9/10 = between 7.5kg and 10kg
