FRESHWATER: The 1090 is Maver's best-selling hook in the world! A nickel-plated, wide-bend hook, very light yet also strong; the chemically sharpened point ensures perfect hooking of our bait, whether it's a maggot, a worm or the most delicate mudworm. Suitable for crucian carp, carp and bream but also for Roubaisienne-style and English-style fishing. In sizes from 2 to 8 it has been the leading hook for trout fishing in lakes and streams for years. The bronzed version, the 1091, is ideal for fishing in crystal-clear waters with live baits, while the black nickel version is suited to fishing sessions in canals and to targeting bream and crucian carp; the special treatment makes this hook even more reliable and higher performing, becoming perfect for English-style fishing sessions for medium-sized fish. SEA: The 1095 in large sizes is ideal for baiting live shrimp for bass fishing, but also for baiting sardine when using the light drifting technique for mackerel and horse mackerel.
