The FAT JIG, as its name suggests, was designed to be heavy—or rather compact! The Ragot range of spoons and jigs was already very comprehensive, but to complete it we had to think in terms of "density." For shore anglers, the FAT JIG allows casting a lure that ultimately remains small at very long distances, while for boat anglers it proves extremely effective at quickly reaching depth while presenting a lure that is not too bulky and that stands up in the current. In natural or Flashy colors and armed with an assist hook and a simple in-line, the FAT JIG proved during tests to be a formidable weapon against all our marine predators, particularly pollack and bass.
