If you often change locations and also fish in completely different places, you should take a closer look at the Street Net Pro. Thanks to its compact transport size and the sturdy metal clip attached to the handle, you can easily attach this lightweight landing net to your belt or bag. You can also carry it over your shoulder thanks to its length-adjustable, detachable strap. Of course, you can also use the swivel ring at the end of the handle or the eyelet above the metal clip to attach the Street Net Pro, for example to a magnetic clip. Thanks to its special folding mechanism, the landing net remains securely fixed during transport and the net head is firmly locked in place. Nevertheless, you can put the Street Net Pro into action in the blink of an eye. This works without any problem even if you have only one hand free during a fight. The landing net head also locks securely once unfolded. The handle is telescopic and can, for example, easily be pushed forward from an elevated position. This makes it your ideal companion if you are a mobile bank angler. Our Street Net Pro is equipped with a metal thread (3/8-inch English standard thread), allowing you to change the handle or replace it with another handle length. You will find the alternative handles in our Accessories section (Street Net Pole / see below). For example, you can buy a Street Net Pro and, by additionally purchasing one of the Street Net Pole handles in another length, enjoy great flexibility when travelling. You therefore do not need to buy another complete Street Net landing net with a different handle length, as has until now been common with other brands. This not only saves you money, but also space (for example in the car). To ensure that the handle is retracted and securely locked during transport, we made sure to install a slightly conical metal plug as a connecting piece beneath the thread. It does not wear out and securely fixes the last carbon section of the handle. A slight pressure is more than sufficient to firmly connect the hollow handle to the metal piece. If you wish to extend the handle (feel free to lightly hold the landing-net head against the ground with your foot), we recommend turning the handle slightly clockwise while pulling, so that the thread does not loosen. The heat-shrink tubing at the end of the handle provides the necessary grip when extending it and, of course, when landing your catch. The Street Nets Pro handle is made of carbon. Despite its length, it is therefore very lightweight. When selecting the carbon, we of course also placed great importance on stability. The same applies to the frame of the landing-net head. It is made of carbon-coated aluminium. This perfectly combines torsional strength, durability and lightness, which is particularly important for a landing net. The net is rubber-coated (which protects the catch and prevents hooks from becoming easily caught in it) and has a 12 mm mesh. At the bottom of the net, we opted for a 6 mm mesh so that, for example, weights do not slip through. We deliberately avoided cut mesh, as the smaller mesh of the landing net is gentler on the fins. We intentionally designed a net that is not too deep so that it does not drag on the ground when carried on a belt. Nevertheless, the size is more than sufficient so that, in the best-case scenario, even pike over one metre long can fit inside. But of course, the size is not ideal for large pike; it is instead suited to perch, zander and pike up to a maximum length of 80 or 90 cm. If you are specifically targeting very large pike, we recommend other landing nets from our range that are better suited to this purpose. Additional information: the Street Net Pro, with a total length of 450 cm, is suitable for practically all spots. It is also ideal for fishing near high sheet-pile walls or other elevated spots. If you also fish frequently near flatter bank structures, take a look at the shorter replacement pole, Street Net Pole (below in the accessories). Since telescopic carbon handles can only be locked once fully extended, it is entirely sensible to have different handle lengths available. At least if you want to fish as comfortably as possible.
