The Onimaru is a metal blade whose design is based on a special balance developed from research into the behavior of marine predators. Its horizontal swimming posture faithfully mimics the silhouette of a small fleeing fish by emitting sharp vibrations at any retrieval speed without coming loose. The Onimaru features clearly visible lateral lines to quickly attract predators' attention, and the fact that its hook is mounted on a rolling swivel substantially reduces the risk of breakages or the fish coming off the hook by limiting twists and preventing the fish from leaning on the lure during the fight. Its overall design also greatly reduces tangles between the lure's hook and the leader.
