More details : Rigging rules for a tandem presentation : Preferably, use the heaviest nymph on the point. It is also possible to use two nymphs of equivalent weight on a tandem rig if you are looking to obtain a softer line presentation. Spacing between the 2 tandem nymphs should be determined according to the speed–depth combination : 1/ in tight current and shallow depth : 10 to 20 cm 2/ in diffuse current and moderate to deep depth : 20 to 60 cm. Approximate length of the dropper line : 5 to 10 cm
