This clever system is the modernization of the classic Drakovich deadbait rig, but adapted for rigs with soft shads. A weight placed in the lure's belly, anchored in two places (on the nose and the abdomen) and fitted with a treble hook at the rear, increases hookset efficiency. The weight located beneath the lure allows for greater mobility and a more natural action compared with classic jig head rigs, while ensuring better hookset and fewer lost fish.
