This ingenious system is a modernization of the classic Drakovich dead‑fish rig, but adapted for rigs using soft shads. A weight placed in the belly of the lure, anchored in two places (on the nose and the abdomen) and armed with a treble hook at the rear, increases hookset effectiveness. The weight positioned beneath the lure provides greater mobility and naturalness compared with classic jig head rigs, while ensuring better hooksets and fewer lost fish.
