Roach (Rutilus Rutilus) is the most common fish throughout Europe. Eastern Europe and Asia have several subspecies, some with a similar life cycle near the Caspian and Black Seas. Around the Mediterranean and the northwest of Spain and Portugal, several closely related species are also present. It was introduced to Australia into the Murray River and into coastal canals in South Wales and Victoria during the 1860s and 1880s for sportfishing. The Savage Gear 3D Roach range is based on a 3D scan of a real roach and will surprise you with its realism and incredible swimming action! The Line Thru Roach is truly a superb imitation of the roach, which looks and swims like the original. Our famous Line Thru system, developed in previous years, guarantees the best chances of hooking and results in fewer missed strikes. In addition, you can now change the rigging to two trebles. Its high profile offers the best silhouette and a fearsome S-action, and on the stops the lure turns over, driving predators crazy! The slow sinking version can be more easily twitched to remain longer on the spot, while the moderate sink version sinks very quickly, with a very wide S-action that churns a lot of water and attracts pike from afar!
