The Bassterra LRF rods have been specially developed for light rockfishing, which is increasingly popular. Offering exceptional value for money, the Full Carbon fast-action blanks are reinforced with Diaflash and have solid, sensitive tips to feel even the smallest bites when you fish with small jigs or soft lures.

When it comes to having fun, nothing beats the challenge of light rockfishing (LRF). If you are the kind of angler who doesn’t let the size of the fish you catch dictate your fun, you will certainly take great pleasure in catching the almost exotic small fish that live close to all European coasts. With a Bassterra LRF in your hand, you can work small lures very effectively among the rocks, or near structures like harbour walls or marinas, knowing that when a fish takes your lure you will instantly see the bite on the super-sensitive solid tip that equips both models.

The Bassterra LRC Full Carbon blanks have a fast action and are reinforced by the Diaflash construction to give the rods the perfect action, responsiveness and casting performance required for ultra-light lure fishing. You can cast small jigs and other hard lures or, as an alternative, fish soft lures near the shore with supreme accuracy, thanks to the solid and sensitive tips. Fitted with corrosion-resistant Seaguide XOG zirconia guides, which work perfectly with fine braid or nylon, both models are equipped with a VSS reel seat and a dual-grip EVA handle. Available in light power (usage range 1-11g) for very sensitive situations and in slightly higher power (usage range 3-15g) for more demanding situations where slightly larger lures are preferable.
