The Bassterra XT Shore Jigging offers an unbeatable balance between high-end performance and accessibility. Specifically designed for animating metal jigs from the shore, this rod features a fast action ideal for both powerful crankbaits and surface lures.
Shore jigging is attracting more and more anglers — and it's easy to see why! Metal jigs, worked horizontally, generate formidable attraction power. But to exploit their full potential, only one thing matters: distance — and that's where the Bassterra XT Shore Jigging rod excels. Designed for long-distance casting, this rod is a true long-distance caster, whether you're fishing with metal jigs or soft/hard lures of 20 to 80 g or 50 to 150 g depending on the model. Its responsive tip brings your lures to life with an irresistible action that predatory fish cannot resist. And as a bonus: it's just as formidable from a boat, especially for targeting fast pelagics like tuna at long range. If you're looking for the perfect combination of casting power and precise lure control, all wrapped in a modern, sleek design, this is the rod for you.
The blank of the Bassterra XT Shore Jigging is constructed from High Modulus Full Carbon, with reinforcement from Diaflash technology that provides an impressive power reserve. The result? A perfectly balanced combination of long-distance casting power and tip flexibility, for optimal lure control without sacrificing sensitivity. Its fast action generates an impressive peak speed, while the powerful butt (reinforced by Diaflash technology) provides a solid grip against fighting fish, even in the most cluttered or technical areas. To get the most out of this casting power, the rod is equipped with Fuji K-Type stainless steel guides with Fazlite ceramic, which smooth the line flow, limit the risk of tangles, and reduce friction, even during powerful casts or when a banner appears on retrieval. The whole is completed by a Fuji DPS reel seat mounted on a modern split-grip EVA handle, which combines comfort, control and style.
