Eco Sinkers Safety Dropp – rigid plastic insert for Drop-Off system. The drop-off system is used, for example, when fishing in cluttered areas or in heavily vegetated waters, in order to ensure the safe capture of the fish.

The company ECO D&M s.r.o., specialized in the production of certified ecological ferrous concrete sinkers for sport and leisure fishing, presents a new product in the Eco Line range: the Eco Sinkers Safety DROPP with rigid plastic insert.

The continuous ferrous concrete sinker Safety DROPP is based on a proven shape, providing excellent hold on irregular bottoms, breaks or in strong currents.

As its name indicates, the Safety DROPP model is designed for use with a “drop-off” system, thanks to the notch located at the rear of this type of sinker. The drop-off system is notably used to fish in cluttered or heavily vegetated areas, to ensure the safe capture of the fish.

The rigid plastic insert allows the upper silicone cap to slide better and facilitates handling for quick transport and simplified rig preparation.

The rotating parts of the rolling swivel of standard size UK8 are integrated inside the silicone insert (5/3 mm).
The DROPP model has a perfectly positioned center of gravity, which allows it to effectively transfer all the weight of the concrete to the hook point on the bite, thus ensuring deeper and more efficient penetration.

The flat and oval shape allows better weight distribution, reducing the sinker’s penetration into silt and soft bottoms. In addition, the optimal weight distribution and center of gravity positioning allow a steady descent in the water column, without unwanted rotation or tangling of the leader, even at great depth.

The material’s absorption allows the sinker to be soaked with a dip or a booster to release more attractive aromas over the fishing area. The porosity and rougher surface also ensure excellent adhesion of the coating paste, with reliable retention even during powerful casts. Both methods significantly increase the attractiveness of your fishing spot.

All ECO Sinkers are certified for contact with potable water and manufactured from a special 7-component reinforced concrete mix, non-toxic, environmentally friendly and compliant with modern environmental regulations. They pose no danger to humans, animals or other living organisms in contact with water.

Absorption
ECO Sinkers are designed so as not to exceed the indicated weight, even after immersion in water, a dip, a booster or any other liquid. Dry, the weight of the sinker may vary by ± 5 g from the indicated value.

Volumetric properties
ECO Sinkers concrete sinkers have a density (weight per cm³) higher than other classic lead alternatives, which makes them more compact and suitable for use in various conditions.
