The TRICOROLL KNOCKER SHW is nothing other than the heavier, noisier version of the TRICOROLL RYUSHIN SHW. The addition of a tungsten bead has allowed the lure's weight to be increased (by an average of 6% depending on the models) and thus to further boost its capabilities: this bead, through its mass transfer, improves casting accuracy and distance while increasing its sinking speed.

This bead gives it a low-frequency sound that increases the lure's presence to trigger predators in the area more quickly. The TRICOROLL KNOCKER SHW, a minnow-type lure that is « Super fast sinking » or « Super Heavy Weight », retains its preferred abilities to target trout, perch and asp.

Its mechanical characteristics make it effective from the descent (strong effect of ‘Rolling’), but also during “downstream” drifts or ‘three-quarter downstream’ drifts during which the angler accompanies his lure, rod held high, with a semi-tight line.
In these conditions, the slightest action sets it in motion by means of the simple pressure exerted by the current on the triangular-shaped lip, which ensures great stability in the most turbulent areas.

The traditional ‘jerking’ and ‘twitching’ retrieves obviously remain effective at deceiving trout. It feels particularly at ease in all environments (small, medium and large rivers as well as mountain lakes).

Its streamlined body provides exceptional hold in strong-current areas, but also in slower sectors where the slightest water pressure or animation will make it wobble. To limit the risk of hookups coming loose, the belly hook is fixed by a rolling swivel (Rolling Swivel) that rotates 360 degrees.

These features also make it a top choice for other species such as the asp and the perch. The TRICOROLL RYUSHIN KNOCKER series is available in three sizes. ‘RYUSHIN’ translates from Japanese as Centre of the River.
