The Shadow Rap have a "Minnow" action on the verge of dying. It completes those of the "Wounded Minnow" and the "Fleeing Minnow" already known and renowned in the Rapala range. These three actions perfectly reproduce the moments when fish are most vulnerable, and are therefore an easy target for predators.
The action of a "Minnow" on the verge of dying is simple: a "twitch" dislodges the lure to the side that will then turn to face its opponent head down and fall fluttering like a real dying fish. Unlike other "Jerkbaits", the Shadow Rap turns almost 180° when it is "twitched" on a slackline, and stays in the search area where it will sink slowly while vibrating.

Designed to perfectly mimic a "Wounded Minnow" on the verge of dying, the Shadow Rap® triggers touches in 2 ways: by swimming aggressively with "Twitches" or, if you slacken off, by turning around and facing the predators. If you continue the pause, it will slowly sink head forward wriggling like a dying fish. To stay longer in the search area, animate it with small "Twitches".
