the sakura wd snap snaps have a very versatile teardrop profile. more compact and lighter than our famous nice snap, they are perfectly suited to the use of small lures for trout fishing for example (in the smaller sizes). their configuration nonetheless ensures remarkable robustness, capable of withstanding pulls and runs from fairly large fish. well flared, they give lures complete freedom of movement and are recommended for fishing with crankbaits and other surface lures. indeed, the wd snap, with their rounded shape, do not restrict lateral movements and the slides of hardbaits. thus, they can truly express their swimming quality as if they were tied with an open-loop knot! rather intended for freshwater and light fishing, they can be advantageously replaced by the wd snap x-strong, of the same shape but with a stainless steel wire diameter more resistant to pull.
