the sakura wd snap x-strong snaps have a very pronounced teardrop profile. compact and built with stainless steel wire stronger than the wd snap, they are perfectly suited for use with large or heavier lures, to fish for large predators in saltwater or freshwater. their very flared head configuration offers complete freedom of movement to lures and is recommended for fishing with plugs and other surface lures. indeed, the wd snap x-strong have a very rounded shape that does not restrict the lateral swings and glides of hard lures. they can really express their swimming qualities as if they were tied with an open-loop knot! primarily intended for sea fishing, these snaps can be used in freshwater for fishing with big baits for pike or in exotic locales.
