The Illex Dunkle 7” received the Pecheur Awards Carnassier 2023 for the pretty 15-20cm shad, already rigged and not too heavy, ready to tempt pike.

A concentrate of innovations, the DUNKLE 7’’ is a soft swimbait shad mainly designed for targeting bass and pike. Very easy to use, its density allows long-distance casting but also makes it a top choice for skipping under overhangs or prospecting weedbeds and other snags. The rig, made up of an ultra-sharp double hook mounted on a rolling swivel and a split ring, is held in place by a retention hook and releases at the moment of the strike to limit hang-ups and preserve the lure’s integrity. A second retention hook located on the back of the DUNKLE allows you to secure the rig to get as close as possible to obstacles. The body shape, thick then tapering sharply to a broad tail, gives it a rolling swim at low speed, so it stays longer in the strike zone, greatly increasing the chances of a catch. Available in 6 colors, the DUNKLE 7’’ will quickly become one of your go-to lures.
