The Mutant Rat is a new-generation soft lure with a floating body, designed to trigger aggressive strikes even at very slow retrieve speeds. Designed using ultra-realistic details obtained through 3D scanning, it combines several effective elements that attract predatory fish. Its ribbed body gives it greater mobility, while its oversized frog-like legs and straight rat tail generate massive water displacement. The ball-shaped tips of its legs, reminiscent of a gecko’s feet, add a subtle detectable movement while the lure barely moves. A lure designed for fishing in heavily obstructed areas and sectors where predatory fish are under heavy fishing pressure. This model can be rigged weedless with suitable EWG hooks, or screwed onto the Mutant Hard Rat head for a hybrid soft-lure and hard-lure presentation.
