The 16 cm version, the largest for zander, was created in 2013 from Sebastian Hänel's idea. He wanted a larger size to attract more attention from zander and to fish more selectively for the best specimens.

The action of the ZANDER Gummi 16 cm is high-frequency with a pronounced rolling action and relatively little shock wave. The entire length of its body produces a "body-shake", that is, it rocks back and forth. Its material is very soft yet still flexible, which allows it to last a long time and to withstand some attacks and impacts. This great flexibility makes it easier for fish to take the bait, thereby significantly improving hookup efficiency.

The conspicuous eyes are literally an important focal point. Zander see light/dark contrasts particularly well, and these durable eyes guide each strike specifically toward the front area, where the hook should also be located. Thanks to its slim shape and small paddle, the ZANDER is particularly well suited to currents, allowing better bottom contact in currents and at great depths.
