The Aero X2 13 metres is the perfect pole for anglers looking for versatility and mid-range quality, but who don't need the full length of a longer, more expensive model. Suited to carp and coarse fish, the Aero X2 is well balanced, stiff and has a large reserve of power. For more versatility, the top kits are compatible with the full range of Aero poles.

If you're the kind of angler who doesn't fish beyond 13 metres and you're looking for a versatile pole, the Aero X2 13 metres could be the perfect solution. This mid-priced model is very appealing - after all, you won't pay for extra length that you'll never use! Built from high-quality Japanese carbon (a combination very similar to that of the X5), the X2 is very balanced, lightweight and stiff, even when fished at full length. If you mainly fish for carp and small carp, the Aero X2 is an excellent choice when fitted with the Super Power Kit and it can cope with heavy elastics and very combative fish. Fit the lighter Super Match Kit and it will immediately improve your coarse fishing on lakes and rivers.

The versatile performance of the Aero X2 Competition directly benefits from the development programme used during the design of the Aero Pro. The combination of high-quality Japanese carbon and advanced cones makes it an excellent choice if you are looking for versatility and robustness at an affordable price. The Aero X2 features a number of characteristics that reinforce Shimano's commitment to producing the best, whatever the price. The Aero Joint is a reinforcement that improves longevity, the Aero Alignment System maximises stiffness and the Shimano Ultra Sound Finish ensures super-smooth operation in all conditions. You will also notice that reinforcement bands have been integrated into the top kits, allowing you to install the extraction kit of your choice. Finally, the larger sections are not interchangeable with the more expensive Aero X5, X7 or Pro poles, but the top kits are, which allows you to buy additional kits to complete the X2 pole set, offering excellent value for money. An extension up to 14,5 m is also available.
