This extremely robust reel was designed to take on powerful fish in tough conditions, both at sea and in fresh water.

Its monocoque aluminum body is lightweight yet durable, able to keep the internal mechanics operating even under heavy stress. It is equipped with an Airdrive Rotor, a new technology minimizing inertia without compromising strength.
This rotor is made from ZAION V, a carbon-based composite exclusive to Daiwa.

The Ballistic HD is perfectly suited for casting for large marine or freshwater predators such as sea bass, frigate tuna, barracuda, pike, asp, zander, or large perch. Designed for power, robustness and reliability, it is the ideal companion for anglers seeking high performance in the most demanding challenges.
