The latest generation of BG has arrived! This "LIGHT &TOUGH" series prioritises smoothness and a silky-smooth retrieve.

The special feature of this "LT" series is the addition of AIRDRIVE DESIGN technology for the first time in a BG series. The rotor and bail design help rebalance the forces during rotation and significantly reduce friction, improving the smoothness of the retrieve.

The aluminium body also has a side plate made from the same material to keep the drive gear securely in place within the reel's structure.

The "ATD-TOUGH" drag features carbon discs to withstand long runs while maintaining power and smoothness across all BG LT sizes.

The aluminium handle screws directly into the drive gear.

These reels are therefore ideal for fishing with lightweight tackle that does not upset the balance of a rod, while still offering the power to handle a strong opponent. Ideal for lure fishing for bass in sizes 2500 to 3000, they can also be used for fishing for bluefish, pollack or small pelagic species from the shore in sizes 4000 to 5000.
