Alongside the launch of the GUNKI OVERTAKE rods, it seemed obvious to us to offer reels whose refined aesthetics and performance would ideally match these beautiful rods. These OVERTAKE spinning reels were developed to create setups perfectly suited to the lure-fishing techniques covered by the OVERTAKE rods.

Equipped with a large-diameter aluminum spool, which promotes a freer release of the line during casting, the lip of these spools has also been profiled at an angle that limits friction as the line leaves the spool.

All these technical adjustments significantly increase casting accuracy and the distances achieved. A real gain, particularly appreciated when you need to cast and animate small lures precisely and/or cast long distances to cover as much water as possible.

The smooth and exacting mechanics of these reels, derived from well-mastered technologies, provide a fluid and powerful rotation, even under load, very pleasant when fishing.
