The NIGHT SHADOWS S 2402 M Z STRIPES OPS is a one-of-a-kind rod that meets a very specific set of requirements.

We developed it specifically for the most demanding anglers targeting zander and large perch with finesse. Its slim blank coupled with FUJI K-R guides gives it unparalleled lightness and sensitivity, without making the slightest compromise on power.

Its marked action allows precise presentations while providing an optimal feel for the lure’s swim, the nature of the substrate and the most subtle bites.
Its length of 2,40m is ideal for finesse fishing from the bank as well as from a boat; it allows long casts while optimizing line control, hooksets and fish handling.

Originally designed for using softbaits on a straight retrieve, during tests it also proved deadly on drop-shot and light Carolina setups. Softbaits for straight retrieve: MAGIC SLIM SHAD 3, 4 and 5, MAGIC SWING TAIL 3.8 or MAGIC Z SHAD 80 and 105 mounted with jigheads from 2.5g up to 10g, NITRO 65 or 90 mounted on a NITRO SHAD HEAD from 3.5g up to 10g. Softbaits for drop-shot (recommended sinker weights 5 to 14g): SCISSOR COMB 3 and 3.8, MAGIC FINESS SHAD, MAGIC MAY FLY 2.6.

Softbaits for light Carolina (recommended bullet weights 3.5 to 14g): SCISSOR COMB 3 and 3.8, MAGIC Z SHAD 80. Lovers of summer and autumn fishing with hardbaits will take great pleasure fishing around schools of fry: the entire CHUBBY series, MAGIC CRANK 40, SQUIRREL 61 and DD SUIRREL 67, TWITCH FLESH 61DR and 67 D2R, BATTLE MINNOW 80 and other STREAM RIPPER 60 and 75. For those who stalk late-season gatherings of perch with the DERACOUP from 7 to 14g, this rod will be your best ally.

This rod is associated with the latest generation of FUJI components. FUJI ALCONITE ‘K-R’ guides to eliminate any risk of your line becoming tangled in the guides during casts, whatever the conditions encountered.

This gem is fitted with a reel seat and a carbon butt to perfect its resonance and detection power: bottom configuration, lure movement and short bites. The sleek design of the reel seat ensures comfort during lure presentations and a good grip during fights!
