the pepper s 2252 m-mh silver ops is the most powerful rod in the pepper range. gael even specifically designed this two-piece rod for punchy 'finesse' fishing. its length of 225cm and the specific action of its blank allow long-distance casts while ensuring optimal control and feel of the lure and the bites. he provided the blank specifications to obtain a very fast action on the lower 3/4 and a softer action on the last 1/4. these characteristics result in a versatile rod for hard surface lures (bonnie 95 and 107, riser bait 008, chatterbeast 90 and 115), crankbaits (water monitor 95, stream ripper 75, 90 and 110, rerange 110 and 130 sp, rv minnow 110 sp, battle minnow 135 sp, squirrel 79 sp and dd squirrel 79 sp) and softbaits used for straight retrieves or for dragging. for straight retrieve fishing (magic slim shad 4, 5 and 6; magic fat shad 5 mounted on magic round head heads from 5 to 14g, magic z shad 105, 130 and 160 with the same weights). for dragging fishing (nitro shad 65 on nitro shad head weighted heads 7 and 10g, nitro shad 90 on heads 10 to 21g, nitro shad 120 in 14g, nitro slim shad 110 mounted on nitro slim shad head heads from 10 to 21g, nitro slim shad 150 in 10 and 14g...). gael wanted to make this blade his go-to rod for shore or boat fishing in freshwater (zander on straight retrieves, large perch and pike in 'light') as well as at sea. there is no doubt that the characteristics of the silver ops will make this 'punchy' pepper an ally for prospecting with jerkbaits from 14 to 28.5g, with the runner blade in sizes 70 and 90 or with the silver shade casting jig. for the most demanding specimen anglers, the pepper s 2252 m-mh silver ops will quickly establish itself as the reference rod. it is built from the new high-end x5 blank, which adopts a pre-impregnated sheet process featuring carbon fiber orientation at three angles. this pepper gains in lightness, resonance and power for multiplied enjoyment and efficiency. it is fitted with the fuji torzite titanium « k » series of guides — thinner and lighter to perfect the transmission of information to the blank, to optimize casting distances and the life of your line, to eradicate any risk of your line tangling in the guides during casts, whatever the conditions encountered — and it is combined with the vss reel seat which improves grip and comfort. it is supplied with a silk-screened cover and a rigid protective cordura tube.
