At the dawn of its twentieth year, ILLEX has lost none of its DNA and marks the return of the NITRO range to the catalogue. This new series of rods specially dedicated to the pursuit of marine predators, from shore as well as on board (boat or kayak), takes up the brand's DNA since its beginnings. Composed of eight new models covering all sea fishing techniques, with hard lures, soft lures or jigging. No compromise has been made on quality, all the rods benefiting from rigorously selected premium components: High-modulus Japanese TORAY blank, Alconite guides and FUJI reel seats paired with high-density EVA foam. A sober, streamlined aesthetic accompanies the fishing performance. Technical and accomplished, the NITRO range was conceived and developed for the specific needs of our European sea anglers.

The NITRO S 215 M-MH Kayak Edition is intended to be the quintessential versatile rod for all sea fishing from a kayak or even on a SUP paddle. The ILLEX sea team developed this lightweight rod to meet the specific expectations of these demanding anglers. Light, resonant and tactile, its length of 2,15m will allow you to approach spots at a distance with discretion and precision while controlling your lures. Its fast action allows the use of surface stickbaits (Bonnie series, Clyde Mud Sucker 110, Chatterbeast 90 et 110), subsurface stickbaits (Water Monitor series, Stream Ripper 75 et 90), Jerkbait Minnow (Arnaud series, Rerange series, Squad Minnow 95 SP, MagSquad 115 F et 128 SP), Longbill Minnow (DD Squirrel 79 SP, Super DD Squirrel 79 SP et DD Arnaud 100 SP) but also Blade Baits (Runnner Blade 90) and also makes the NITRO S 215 M-MH Kayak Edition an ideal rod for soft-lure techniques such as pitching, straight-line and towing which require precision and sensitivity. This rod is fitted with the latest generation of FUJI components. FUJI Alconite ‘K’ guides to eradicate any risk of your line tangling in the guides during casts, whatever the conditions encountered. The butt design has been thought out for a secure hold in your rod holder, the VSS reel seat will ensure comfort and an optimal grip throughout your fishing session!
