The blanks in organic fibers of the "X10" series incorporate natural-origin materials such as plant fibers (cellulose microfibrils), giving these rods surprisingly strong vibration-damping and shock-absorbing performance. This new type of material exhibits a tensile strength that surpasses fiberglass in strength while being much lighter. Megabass thus offers a series of rods with a particularly soft action without compromising on weight. Finally, the "Project X10" team aimed for sustainable manufacturing, and the use of natural materials helps reduce CO2 emissions during the production process. Of all the composite materials used by ITO Engineering so far, it is the most durable and functional material. The "regular" action of the F6 1/2-66XT will be ideal for using medium-sized hard swimbaits such as the Jointed Claw 178 or the Vatalion 115. We also recommend this rod for using spinnerbaits and bladed jigs.
