With excellent value for money, the penn® squadron iv uptide rod range is built with blanks that offer a modern action and a superb look. The 24t carbon blanks feature a short butt but a long tip, which makes it easier for you to cast from the boat. The tip section helps dampen the rolling caused by the boat so that the sinker stays in contact with the seabed and so you can also detect bites more easily. The lower part of the rod provides plenty of power to see you through fights with rays, cod and other species. The slim, fast-action blanks are fitted with ergonomic high-density EVA handles and one-piece penn® dura-guide stainless steel guides, allowing you to use all types of lines. These guides are extremely tough and durable. These rods are built to last.
