The herox spod reel is sleek, robust and high-capacity, designed for long-distance baiting. Manufactured to high specifications and fitted with an ultra-smooth worm-drive transmission; this mechanism provides a perfectly crossed line lay. Our heli coil gearing offers an ultra-flat line lay for smooth casting performance and immaculate line presentation. Constructed from lightweight graphite; the body and rotor incorporate a floating rotor line guard that helps prevent tangles. The elegant matte black finish, CNC black anodized aluminium handle and dark wood-look body exude quality. The spool is fitted with two line clips that will aid accuracy when long-distance casting. Other features include 5 + 1 ball bearings, a gear ratio of 4,6:1 (1,10m) for comfortably spodding at long distance. We recommend using a shock leader of 50 to 65lb for casting.
