The EGI OH TR 3.0 is a "Tip Run" type squid jig particularly well suited for deep fishing or when it is necessary to descend quickly into the water column. It is equipped with a tin weight and the specific shape of its body, as well as its various features, allow it to maintain a perfectly stable horizontal position in the water, essential for optimizing the capture of cephalopods. Its perfect stability during descent stems from the design of its body, the choice of the shape of its weight, its hook baskets of unequal sizes and its small Hydro Fin technology protrusion located at the rear of its body, which also gives it good holding power in the water by making it less affected by movements of the line. The EGI-OH TR series is also fitted with 490Glow, with eyes whose phosphorescence has a wavelength of around 490nm, and with Warm Jacket technology, which is a coating designed to reproduce and retain more durably than traditional coatings the slight temperature variation between the water and the body of a prey that heats on contact with light to stimulate cephalopods' predatory instinct. Size 3.0 is ideal for fishing cuttlefish and squid from shore. It is also effective from a boat in shallow depths or when cephalopods operate in the first meters below the surface. The sink rate of the Egi-Oh TR 3.0 is approximately 1,5 seconds per meter.
