Long casting distance
The Aurie-Q Longcast has been weighted for greater casting distances without altering the swimming qualities that made its reputation.

Dorsal balancing
The Aurie-Q Longcast features a floating dorsal protrusion that compensates for the added weight.
Casting distances are optimized, but its 3 D jerks during Bichi-bachi animation as well as its stable position during the descent remain unchanged. This protrusion constitutes an attack point much appreciated by cephalopods.

Anti-snag weighting
The specific shape of the Aurie-Q Longcast's weighting has been designed to enhance 3 D jerks while limiting snags.

Ultra-resistant grapple
