We designed the Pike Trapper series primarily for static fishing or dead-bait fishing with bottom rigs. Pike is clearly at the heart of this range of rods. Compared with carp rods, we have focused on a fast action, stiff blanks and more powerful tips. After all, when pike fishing, everything comes down to the bite. During the fight, each Pike Trapper nevertheless reveals its semi-parabolic action, capable of cushioning the pike’s runs without difficulty, even at close range. The rubber and cork handle is not only stylish, it is also extremely robust and offers an excellent grip. We deliberately accepted this additional weight compared with cork or EVA, because it is located precisely at the handle, thereby making the Pike Trapper rods even better balanced. The 360 cm Pike Trapper with a 3.00 lb test curve is ideal for static fishing with modern bottom rigs, but also for float rigs with baits placed on the bottom (keyword: Pencil).
