The new Urtan X-8 is a 3-section surfcasting rod that is very well balanced and of very small diameter, capable of reaching long distances when properly cast.

Assembled with U.L.A.F. Pro-Force technology, the Urtan X-8 is the highest-performing rod in the entire Urtan series and is built with the same characteristics as all the rods in this family, namely: excellent performance, an affordable price, enjoyable fishing and easy handling.

With the Urtan X-8, technical casts, such as ground casting, can be performed comfortably without compromising its integrity.

This rod, in terms of content, finish and performance, holds a prominent place in our catalogue.

Available sizes : 4,20 and 4,50 meters.

• High-modulus U.L.A.F. Pro-Force carbon supported by long fibers for greater responsiveness during casts and less vibration during retrieval.
• The KW ring, which is widely used in all markets, is not only very light but has a structure that allows it to be used regardless of sea conditions, including when the sea is rough and when many debris remain suspended without settling on the seabed. In this case, the larger diameter of the rings facilitates the passage of seaweed, thus avoiding tangles and line blockages near the knots.
• Hybrid tip with the last 45 centimeters in solid carbon. Tip diameter of 1,45 mm, which gives better hook-setting sensitivity, even at long distances.
• The solid carbon tip is colored with a highly visible white paint.
