the penn® tidal xt beach caster rods are part of the new exclusive penn® tidal surfcasting concept. the tidal beach casters have been specifically designed to be used either with a fixed-spool reel or with a revolving-spool reel and are equipped with the new fuji alconite deep pressed guides. the blanks are made from a combination of 36/40t carbon, resulting in a lightweight rod with a very slim and responsive blank. in addition to all this, these rods are fitted with x-wrap carbon technology to make them even more robust and to reduce the risk of tangling, while also allowing for accurate casts and better control. the glow-in-the-dark paint makes bite detection easier in low-light conditions. all these rods are also equipped with the special x-shrink handle to provide better control during casting.
