The SUNSET HIGHLANDER is a powerful surfcasting rod, designed for heavy-duty fishing and the use of large baits (cuttlefish, livebaits...). Its 24T carbon construction reinforced by a cross carbon weave guarantees powerful casts and total control, even against record fish.

The SUNSET HIGHLANDER rod was developed for demanding anglers seeking power, solidity and extreme performance. Designed for heavy fishing and bulky baits, it excels both when fishing with drifting baits from the shore and when deploying livebaits from a boat or paddleboard.

Its 24T carbon blank, reinforced by a cross carbon weave, provides the HIGHLANDER with an exceptional power reserve and great responsiveness, ideal for casting heavy rigs or fighting record-size fish such as dentex, amberjacks, meagre, rays, congers or large sea bass.

Composed of 3 sections, it offers an excellent compromise between transportability and stiffness. Its glow-in-the-dark tip, combined with fluorescent orange wraps, ensures perfect visibility during night sessions, allowing the slightest bite to be spotted immediately.

The rubberized ergonomic handle provides a firm and comfortable grip, even in rain or with wet hands, while the shock-absorbing butt cap effectively protects the rod base. The FUJI DPSM tubular reel seat ensures optimal reel retention. The robust, anti-tangle FUJI KW “O” RING guides guarantee smooth line flow and perfect compatibility with braided line.

Available in two lengths (4.20 m and 4.50 m) for a power range of 100 to 500 g, the SUNSET HIGHLANDER is supplied with a durable fabric sleeve.
