The Sosy is a pike and black bass lure specially designed for fishing for pike and black bass. It is mainly used with a straight retrieve.

Thanks to its segmented body, the Sosy produces an articulated, sinuous action, recreating the natural movements of a fish swimming along. Its shape has been carefully designed to achieve a smooth, realistic action, even at a slow retrieve speed.

Its treble-hook rig, combined with forward weighting and a weighted head, ensures good balance. The lure therefore maintains a natural action throughout the retrieve.

An action that can be adapted to the depth
The Sosy swims from a depth of 30 cm, so it can be used in the upper water column, particularly close to the surface.

Its swimming depth also varies according to retrieve speed:
• Fast retrieve: the Sosy rises and swims close to the surface.
• Slow retrieve: it gradually sinks into the water column.
• A pear-shaped clip-on weight can also be added. This system allows you to adjust the swimming depth and adapt the lure to the conditions.

A new generation of the Sosy concept
With this new version, Delalande continues to develop and innovate around the Sosy concept.

Compared with the previous version of the Sosy, which dates from the beginning of the 21st century, the diving lip has been removed. It tended to slow the action and restrict the lure’s freedom of movement.

This new design gives the Sosy a smoother, freer and more natural action. The lure also has a more discreet silhouette in the water, making it particularly effective in heavily fished areas.

The Sosy pike and black bass lure is available in a wide range of colours. You can therefore tailor your choice to the light conditions, water clarity and fish activity.

Its articulated action and ability to swim close to the surface make it a versatile lure. It is particularly useful for searching shallow areas for pike and black bass.
