Jörgen Larsson fell into the magical world of fishing in his childhood and has never left it since. For several decades he was a passionate all-around angler, but over the past ten years he has become a true perch fishing enthusiast.

Jörgen has often been among the first to adopt new techniques and has generally pushed them to their limits. He has always been drawn to adventure, challenges and giant fish, whether at home in Sweden, along the Norwegian coasts or in various exotic destinations.

He has won the title of Swedish specimen fishing champion three times and has a list of personal records that few anglers can match, with many remarkable catches both in freshwater and at sea.

He particularly enjoys fishing for perch, pike and zander, but also likes to try new species and unusual techniques.

For more than 40 years, Jörgen has contributed to the Swedish and international angling press through books, films, television programs and YouTube productions. For many years he was editor-in-chief of a Swedish fishing magazine before joining Westin.

For about ten years, Jörgen has worked at Westin on product development, marketing, copywriting and film production. Passionate about gadgets and product design, he especially enjoys seeing ideas turn into finished products capable of catching fish.
