For more than 40 years, Dietmar Isaiasch has been intensively fishing for pike, zander, perch and other predatory fish. Thanks to this long experience, he has become one of the few German anglers known beyond his country's borders. Whether from the shore or from a boat, there is practically no technique he hasn't tried.

His career as a professional angler began during his studies as a lure designer, then as a specialist angling author. He has written for 15 different fishing magazines around the world, specialising in modern predator fishing. He has also written several books and contributed to the creation of numerous special issues.

On television, he has lent his expertise to programs broadcast on Seasons and Terranova, devoted to predator fishing, and has also released numerous DVDs.

Always involved in innovation, he founded in Germany the first magazine entirely dedicated to predator fishing, Der Raubfisch (now with Paul Parey), as well as De Roofvis in the Netherlands. He is constantly searching for new techniques and new lures to make this style of fishing exciting and accessible to an ever wider audience.

As a certified marketing expert and product developer, he has participated in the creation of many successful lures and rods for Westin. His greatest achievement to date remains the victory at the first Team World Championship of Predator Fishing in 2002, which he won with his wife Carmen.
