The new Shimano Kairiki 4 is a braid made from 4 strands, produced in Japan and featuring the "VT construction Method" braiding technology. It is a very strong and smooth PE line that is perfect for long-distance casting. It is available in diameters ranging from 0,06 mm to 0,315 mm with an astonishing breaking strength of 29,8 kg. It has the perfect properties for spinning in freshwater and at sea because it is very sensitive and very smooth, which also helps reduce noise. In addition to Mantis Green and Steel Grey, two other colors will be available, namely a highly visible Orange and a Multi Color. The Multi Color is particularly interesting for deep-water fishing. Thanks to its smoothness and its small diameter, Kairiki 4 is an excellent line for jig fishing, because it has low water resistance and, due to its maximum elongation of < 3,0 %, it is also very sensitive.
