The new Shimano Kairiki 4 is a braid made from 4 strands, manufactured in Japan and featuring the "VT Construction Method" braiding technology. This is a highly resistant and smooth PE line that's perfect for long distance casting. It's available in diameters ranging from 0.06 mm to 0.315 mm with a staggering break strength of 29.8 kg. It has the ideal properties for freshwater and sea spinning because it's very sensitive and very smooth, which also serves to reduce noise. Apart from Mantis Green and Steel Grey, two other colours will be available, namely a highly visible Orange and a Multi Color. The Multi Color is particularly interesting for deep water fishing. Thanks to its softness and low diameter, Kairiki 4 is an excellent line for jig fishing, as it has low water resistance and, with its maximum elongation of <3.0%, it's also very sensitive.
