The W10 braid has been developed for anglers in search of the ultimate braid. Our innovative construction allows for a line that combines maximum strength and abrasion resistance with a very smooth surface. Built from top quality Japanese ultra-molecular polyethylene (UHMPE) fibres, the W10 braid uses a 13X (12+1) design with 12 carriers woven around a central CORE carrier to produce an extremely round line with improved strength compared to 8X braided lines. The W10 braid uses an "Advanced Ultra High PIC" construction with 56 braids per inch for a smoother surface and better abrasion resistance. Furthermore, the tighter weave of the "Advanced Ultra High PIC" gives the smoothest surface for longer and more accurate casts. Casting performance is further enhanced by the Dura-Coating gel process, which gives the braid a smoother, water-repelling surface, reducing water absorption and decreasing friction. To achieve maximum colour stability, the W10 braid is soaked in dye tanks before being oven dried to "cure" the pigment and finally sealed with a layer of dura-coat for increased longevity.
