We present an improved version of the incredible Horizon X5-S rods. The X5 Black rods use cutting-edge carbon technology for a blank that is stronger, lighter, slimmer and more powerful. They use multiple multidirectional layers of finer carbon fabric with a nanofiber technology that are electro-bonded together during the curing process. All ferrules feature additional carbon reinforcement. The X5 Black blanks provide superior recovery to improve casting distance and accuracy, while retaining excellent action. Now finished with matte black guides and a matte black reel seat, with a Japanese shrink wrap coating and an EVA finish for comfort, these rods are one of a kind!
