The Combat Ultra-Classic rod has been designed for anglers who demand precision in every aspect of their fishing. From long-range casting to playing a fish, every element of the rod is optimised to deliver uncompromising performance on the bank. This rod is built on a high-modulus 30-tonne Japanese Toray carbon blank with a 1K woven finish. This premium construction creates an exceptionally lightweight rod which, combined with a fast action, provides rapid tip recovery for accurate and efficient casting. The blank profile retains a forgiving tip while maintaining the power needed to cast a good distance. The styling of this rod is deliberately understated, letting the quality of the craftsmanship speak for itself. High-quality components are used throughout, including an American Tackle 1K carbon reel seat and matt Minima K-Guides, selected for their weight-saving properties and long-term durability. The Combat-Ultra Classic range delivers this performance in a traditional two-piece format. Available in 10ft, 12ft and 13ft lengths, with a choice of Duplon, Paracord or camouflage cork handles, the range caters for individual preferences without compromising the rod’s fundamental performance. Designed for anglers who prioritise function over appearance, the Combat-Ultra Classic is a refined rod with elegant, understated styling.
