The Wychwood Carp Maximiser rods were designed to satisfy the most demanding anglers.

The blanks are made from very high-modulus, low-resin carbon, which provides a lively, fast action that contributes to superb accuracy, even when fishing at range. Finished with a 1K matte weave, discreet graphics, a slim Duplon handle and black stainless steel fittings, these rods are as attractive as they are high-performing.

The 12ft 3.5lb model is capable of casting solid PVA bags beyond 100 meters with great accuracy, while retaining excellent fish-playing characteristics and sufficient shock absorption in the tip to prevent hook pulls, making it the perfect choice for most fishing situations. Despite its power, it is not a dedicated long-range tool but rather a versatile, well-balanced rod.

The 12ft 9in 3.5lb model has been designed to deliver extreme range and incredible accuracy. This model features a reinforced butt that significantly increases the blank's power, and the super-fast tip allows the blank to recover at an amazing speed.

Both models are equipped with 50mm rings, an anti-knock tip ring and an 18mm Fuji reel seat.
