The new Wychwood Specialist S2 rod series has been developed on ultra-fine blanks with a raw carbon finish along the full length. Designed and developed in-house in the UK, this range is aimed at demanding specialist anglers and barbel enthusiasts.

Made from high-quality Toray carbon, these rods benefit from a naturally sanded matte finish that reduces reflections and glints likely to spook fish in clear water. They are equipped with an integral olive-green Duplon handle paired with a quality DPS reel seat, as well as premium Sea Guides rings.

The lightest Twin Tip models feature soft, progressive tips allowing excellent bite detection for finesse fishing. The more powerful models in the range, meanwhile, are perfectly suited to long distances, large lakes or rivers in spate.

An even more powerful model aimed at fishing for barbel and chub in fast-flowing, snaggy rivers. Perfect for large rivers such as the Trent or the Severn when they are in spate. Also very suitable as a light carp rod.
