When launching a high-end range of fly rods, it is quite obvious that you need to have a reel that is suitable and designed to balance it. A superior quality reel demands a world-class brake, plenty of silk storage capacity, be built in lightweight but very strong materials and finally have a unique design to differentiate it from other reels on the market.

This large arbour reel has a micrometric toric brake system. The reel for a 3-4 silk was created with an adjustable ratchet brake to lighten it. The reels for 5-6 and 7 8 silk have a disc toric brake.
