The WKS Lighthouse 904 is part of the Prodigy Workshop Series with a clear mission: to offer river enthusiasts a tool capable of meeting the demands of trout and grayling fishing. This 9-foot, 4-weight blank was selected for its versatility and its ability to handle delicate short- and mid-range fishing.
Whether dry fly or sight-nymphing, it provides rigorous line control, essential for running a precise drift or placing a long leader accurately.

The guide train consists of a Fuji Torzite T2 stripping guide and Rodbuilders’ Republic R-SFG316 tunnel guides (stainless 316 + Titanium plating). Mounted on the spine with single-foot guides, thereby limiting the number of wraps and the amount of finish, to preserve the blank's original action and responsiveness. This configuration increases the blank's stability after the cast, preventing stray vibrations that impair accuracy.

Aesthetics and fishing comfort have been given particular care to make the WKS LH904-4 as pleasing to the eye as it is to use. The half-wells handle in Top Flor cork offers a density and a softness that is barely noticed in the hand, while the reel seat with its wood insert and the Rodbuilders Republic engravings underline the series' artisanal character. In the field this blank reveals a wide usable range; it easily takes a DT3 line for the finest approaches while retaining a healthy power reserve to secure fights on good-sized fish.
