The WKS Lighthouse 1062-4 joins the Prodigy Workshop Series as a technical response to the specific requirements of competitors on the fly circuit. This 10’6 blank for a 2-weight line was developed to become the reference tool for tight-line nymphing, offering exceptional liveliness. Its length is the perfect meeting point between drift control and the maneuverability required when casting. Precisely calibrated, it excels with tungsten beads of 2.8mm and 3.3mm, while allowing you to go down to 2.4mm or up to 3.5mm depending on the needs of the spot.

The guide train is composed of a Fuji Torzite T2 stripping guide and Rodbuilders’ Republic R-SFG316 tunnel guides (Inox 316 + Titanium plating). The assembly has undergone a strategic adjustment: the stripper is positioned 30.5 cm from the end of the handle, a distance that prevents the formation of a belly in the line and guarantees direct tension. Mounted on the spine with single-foot guides, this choice limits the number of wraps and the amount of varnish to preserve the original action and the blank’s snap.

The aesthetics and ergonomics have been redesigned for the modern demands of competition. The Top Flor cork handle adopts a specific, shorter shape (17cm), ideally suited to the use of semi-automatic reels. The reel seat with its wood insert and the Rodbuilders Republic engravings complete this performance-oriented ensemble. In combat, the blank reveals a round, uninterrupted curve, a progressive action ideal for limiting hook pull-outs and securing every fish to the net. Supplied with its cordura case and protective cover.
