Developed by Des Shipp for fishing F1s and pond carp, the F1 has marked a real revolution in the world of modern fishmeal-based groundbaits. It has also proven very effective on skimmers.

Since its launch, this groundbait has become the preferred choice of many top-level anglers and has proven itself on a large number of venues. By combining a unique blend of sweet attractants with fish meals and crushed pellets, we have created a groundbait that attracts fish from the start of the session while keeping them on the spot thanks to its prolonged holding power.

Sonubaits paved the way by launching the first sweet fishmeal-based groundbait specifically designed for F1s and skimmers: the original and still the best.

Easy to prepare, it binds perfectly on a method feeder and breaks down quickly thanks to the fineness of its ingredients. The very fine fishmeal particles make the mix low-activity once wetted, thus promoting a rapid breakdown of the bait around the hook. It can also be used in balls or placed in the bait cup as a soup version.

The F1 Original groundbait is part of a complete range including hook baits, groundbait pellets, pastes and liquids, usable alone or in combination with other baits.

Preparation Instructions
F1 Groundbait is very simple to prepare. Pour the 2 kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a maggot box with 2 pints of water, then pour this water over the dry mix. Mix thoroughly and leave to stand for 30 minutes so the groundbait absorbs all the moisture. For optimal results, then pass the mix through a sieve to remove lumps and obtain a homogeneous texture. The groundbait is then ready to use.

During fishing, sun or wind can slightly dry out the groundbait. To avoid this, cover it with a damp towel or simply add a little water before remixing it.
